21 February 2013Can Cenvat Credit be availed on Shuttering material used in providing Commercial or Industrial Construction Services.
Shuttering material falls under the definition of Capital goods under pipes,tubes & fittings thereof.

Dear Sir, We have purchased MFS Alluminium Formwork system, scaffolding for shuttering purpose. The Tariff Head is "84806000". Can we avail the Input Credit of Central Excise Duty that we have paid on it. We are a Construction Industry and this purchase is common to us. Please suggest. Thanks and regards, Jakir Vashisht
