In my opinion dress code should be for members so that they become distinguished in society....and not for CA students.......

CA the tag is enough to show our uniqueness no need for any dress code.
Yes its necessary for members, i have read somewhere that member should have blazers in black color and a tie with red color and a small logo of ICAI on the blazer..
If not using the blazer then it will be good having Light blue shirt and black color trouser, just like our Kalam kaka (Popular and respectable former president of India)

Dress code is not a good idea, but there should a Batch or a tie as a tocken of CA profesdsional which will be enough. moreover that Batch or tie should not be compulsory

Our Uniqueness is due to our examinations. We fail in 1 sub we have to write all sub again.
So dont even think of more uniqueness. i dont think we need any dress code for more uniqueness.

Why do we need a dress code for students??? May be at the first instance we should have a dress code for the members and not for the students.....

U people may not be aware but there is already a dress code in place
it was published in the newsletter
for girls : salwar kammez, saris or business suits
for boys : full sleeve shirts and trousers
U have to follow the code every where
