May 2006 ca final results or nov 2006 created the impression that there is acute shortage of CAs in the country.However results were somewhat good till nov 2008 but from june 2009 onwards it really turned very low.Many students have cleared ca final ist group-thanks to june 2009 ca final 1st group results.But 2nd group results is just too low.Actually ICAI  does not want students clearing 2nd group coz after clearing 2nd group many CAs will hit the market as many cleared 1st group already.Even this time old syllabus was difficult compare to may 2010 exams.If u are brilliant student then it might not  be so difficult but average students finding it very difficult to go forward.Many believe lack of quality to take students at CPT level have created this problem.Also ICAI  should be constitent in its approach.Why it take over 50000 students in a year when ca final pass rate is not even 5000 students;ICAI should change its approach immediately as by repeating exams you can not develop anything and many finding it difficult to take leaves during exam times.Clearing CA in full is only worth full;ca inter or even final 1st or 2nd group if u clear could not be able to clear another u are no where.If old syllabus not extented to may 2011 students have to shell out about1100 and for about 50000 students who could not clear 2nd group alone will make ICAI richer by 5.5 crores.So students fees/registeration Fuels ICAI growth and not of students.Who could not complete CA in full has to work in CA firm in peanuts or in manufacturing company at dismissial sum.So take CA at ur own risk..
