Todays SFM paper was a good one. It was not easy nor it was very difficult. I hope this time everyone will score good marks.

For calculating EVA, you have to first calculate NOPAT assuming 25 lacs as PAT and back calculate NOPAT = EBIT * (1-0.3).
Then compute WACC and then EVA = NOPAT - ( WACC * Capital employed)

i also dint consider the operating expenses while computing NAV and wrote a note it has been paid already... and EVA i got positive.. did u add back interest after tax to PAT of 25 lakhs... did u take after tax cost of debt in computing WACC? And what was the way to solve the instalments problem? interpolation required or what to find R.. i dint get that?

PAT 25 lakhs given na.. what is there to find? i am missing something...
Added later: yes, i missed something. I took Rm as 9% instead of Rm-Rf = 9% so i think your answers will be correct
