If you want to acquire in depth concept of accounting standards in a simple lucid language then go for snow white.
D S Rawat is good for examination purpose which is very concise and also contains good no. of practical questions.

Dear All,
With due respect to all the authors,in my opinion PLEASE see Paduka's Book on AS AND THEN DECIDE which is the better book.
Its the best book on AS written till date.Have a look at it.

D.S. Rawat is the best book for Accounting Standards.
Questions at the end of each AS are of very good level.
