hey.. m also doin self study and as per my experience
Munish Bhandari Sir's book is the best for law ethics and comm. as the contents have been presented in tabular form... and before each topic past years questions related to the same have been specified so that you have a clear idea about the topics that are frequently asked.
Financial Mgmt. - I prefer tulsian, it contains small questions that'll clear ur concepts and good ones that really need practice, it comes with a scanner that helps a lot in preparing for exams.
Taxation : i suggest u to borrow a VK singhania and Manoharan book before actually purchasing. former discusses every concept in detail and has a no. of questions. but many students find it very complex because its too vast, has a small print and too many footnotes (at every page u'll be asked to read a diff page for more details) Manoharan explains concepts in a simpler manner but contains lesser questions.
go through both of them and buy whatever suits you.
Adv accounts : One answer - Tulsian. since you have the grp 1 tulsian book you probably know how the concepts are discussed in that. I had no problems with that book.
IT & SM : I am studying IT from Dinesh Madan book, its way lesser bulky than the icai module, concepts have been explained well i suggest you to go for it.
SM module is more than enough for the subject. since i am not studying from any reference, i think others will be able to suggest a book fr it
Hope this Helped...
Best luck for your exams
