I plan to give my Ist Group of CA Final in Nov 2011, Please can you advise me whether to take classes for Audit & Law or should i go for self study, if self study then which books I should go for.

It is depend upon u that whether u will join the classes or self study.No doubt that self study is more imprtant than coaching but it takes lot of time to clear the concepts. While in tuition, u can clear the concepts in less time & it increases the speed of your reading.
If u go for self study, then books of munish Bhandari & Compilation of ICAI is the best book for understanding the concepts of Law.
The book of Urvish Shah is the best book of Auditing. I request you to purchase this book for Auditing because in this book, you can find answers in easy luangagues and this book also saves your time in reading because very easy luangages & answers in required words.

hey....i am also giving exams in Nov 2011 and i have deceided to take LAW classes by monish bhandari sir and will do audit on my own...!!
its totally depend on you how much you can self study....or if you want to take classes, thenh tere must me time to take classes as well as self study !!
i ll advice you to take law classes as syllabus in final is very wide !!
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
