Incase a person sells a part of his rights shares and subscribes to the remaining, what will be the treatment for recording the sales proceeds in the investment a/c? Will the amount be entered in the dividend column or amount column?

adamya i meant, does the amount come in INCOME column or AMOUNT column?

According to me the amount should be recorded in the "amount" column. However in the Tulsian book its recorded in the "income" column.
