Go for it & as there is a slack in the market. & those who are offering the jobs are paying less..
So better accept it & in the meanwhile start searching for some better opportunities...

Dear Friend,
I have cleared group 1 in ca-Final in may 2011 and immediately joined in a software company as a Functional consultant . I am getting the same pay as mentioned by you. My suggestion is accept the offer and try to get as much exposure as possible, and keep tryin for new offers.
BUT PLEASE DO NOT SIGN ANY AGGREMENT ASKING YOU TO SERVE THE MINIMUM PERIOD(MORE THAN ONE YEAR OR SO) AS YOU GET LOCKED IN....

Before takes decision, justify some factors:-
1) Sometimes co. offer less salary for the 1st year (as training / provision) & salary jump from 2nd years. 1st check your increment scheme
2) Opportunities to meet other better job interview after joining current job. Check ur location & job location bcoz if u shifted far away, u can't meet interview in ur city
3) Don't sign or ignore any types of term bond
4) Company profile & ur package (take long term factors, not initial salary)
5) Learning, growth, promotion opportunities, work place, job category etc
6) Get job on ur best paper / subject or not (if u interested for the taxation dept & u get job in the internal audit dept, best option to leave job & try for better. Bcoz u can't get opportunities to meet many interview & exam after join a company)
7) Your financial position
U should ur own decision. Check everything in cool & takes ur decision
If u have more questions, plz reply

Dear Friend,
I too faced some similar situation a year before.
In such a case I suggest you to take up the job for the time being..
But to be very frank, whatever the employer offer you right now as a profile may not be actually what you get.
You need to have a lot of patience and work until you get a better opportunity.
Just switch as soon as you get a better job.
One more suggestion, do not sign any kind of a job or any minimum working period contract as it may stop ur flexibility of moving from the organisation.
Anyways, Hope for the best and try to achieve it.
Regards,
Manisha

Dear Sonu
Pls be aware that the selection of the first job of the life is very important as that would decide the major direction of your carreer in future.Altough , there is no any hard & fast rule to my preceding statment, but, still the statement has a heavy wieght in deciding the direction of your career growth as the future opportunities in terms of potential calls from next industries, next package that would be offered to you based on your current salary etc would largly depend on your current TYPE of industry & your CURRENT SALARY (in fact fixed portion of salary out of your CTC is also very important as the next employer give a wieght to this in determining a hike for you).
Further, the PROFILE you would be handelling here would also play a very major role in getting the opportunities from the next potential employer when you would search a new job.
Altough, more often, a person gets a new offer from the SAME TYPE of industry based on his CURRENT PROFILE & CURRENT SALARY (where fixed portion is given heavy weight), yet, i would repeat that there is no hard & fast rule to these, if you really have caliber, good talent, good skills & good academic record, among other factors.
However, you must also consider your present financial condition & the value of time, because by delaying & sitting idle at home without any job in hand would not help you to fetch a good pay job.
Thus, better, to think patiently about all these things, discuss with your seniors & take the decision.
