Pls be aware that the selection of the first job of the life is very important as that would decide the major direction of your carreer in future.Altough , there is no any hard & fast rule to my preceding statment, but, still the statement has a heavy wieght in deciding the direction of your career growth as the future opportunities in terms of potential calls from next industries, next package that would be offered to you based on your current salary etc would largly depend on your current TYPE of industry & your CURRENT SALARY (in fact fixed portion of salary out of your CTC is also very important as the next employer give a wieght to this in determining a hike for you).

Further, the PROFILE you would be handelling here would also play a very major role in getting the opportunities from the next potential employer when you would search a new job.

Altough, more often, a person gets a new offer from the SAME TYPE of industry based on his CURRENT PROFILE & CURRENT SALARY (where fixed portion is given heavy weight), yet, i would repeat that there is no hard & fast rule to these, if you really have caliber, good talent, good skills & good academic record, among other factors.

However, you must also consider your present financial condition & the value of time, because by delaying & sitting idle at home without any job in hand would not help you to fetch a good pay job.
Thus, better, to think patiently about all these things, discuss with your seniors & take the decision.
