    Dear Sir, I as proprietor of a firm is engaged in importing and trading of goods from different locations in USA ,Taiwan etc .The percentage of imports in my total turnover is meagre 10% .I am also registered with Local govt in VAT and have TIN Number and also IEC .My total turover is arround 35 lacs .Whereas I import certain items from a company location outside India pay all basic custom duties ,CVD etc .and add profit to it and sell to our customer by VAT invoice including appropriate VAT . Recently one of our customers has asked to pass on cvd benefit to them .pls advice how is that possible .I don't want to enter into getting registration in central excise and customs due to lot of hassels and documentation .kindly advice if its mandatory for getting registered in Central Excise and Customs and how can i avoid it nd what my reply to customers should be .     Mr. Rama Krishna, In one of your opinions on various export incentives to Merchant Exporter, who exports the goods directly from China to USA, you did mention that if the Merchant Exporter imports the items and do value addition and then exports, then there are few export incentives available to the Merchant Exports. can you pl highlight few export incentives available such Merchant Exporters?

    Dear Sir, I have gone through your valuable inputs regarding Customs and i thank you for ur valuable inputs and sharing knowledge regarding ur experiences. Sir we are Scrap Trading company and we want to Import Alu. Scrap from Asean Countries. Can we be get benefit from the Asean India FTA if we import scrap from Asean countries ? I heard that the FTA applies only on Finished goods, since scrap is a raw material and i being a trader but not a manufacturer. Can you please clarify on this and if i get benefit then how much percentage will i get benefit for Alu. Scrap on BCD, Addl.duty & SAD if i import through Asean countries.
