hi sir, I want to know that what is procedure of Calculate WCT? 1)Under Gujarat VAT Act, 2)Under CST Act, is it based on Raw Material consumption? or if there is any other way, act to calculate this? pl suggest

Dear Mr. Dayal : Thank you very much for your reply. I just need clarity on one part of my query, i.e., what should be the maximum turnover (excluding service tax & cess) during 2007-8? If such turnover is more than Rs. 8 lacs for 2007-8, can the exemption still be availed in 2008-9? The figures given in my query pertained to receipt of payments in 2007-8. My Client and His friends has done the job work and Bill made in my clinet name. His Gross Receipts has more than 4 lacs but after deduction of Salary sheet payment the amount reduced below 4 lacs limit. Then he is cover under manpower recruitment agency after having done job work by him.
