one of my client in Delhi enter into a contract with the contractor for construction of Institute at alwar, Rajasthan. The contractor is company in Delhi but construction site in Rajasthan. The contractor may set up a branch/office in Rajasthan, and may bill from rajasthan. now query is : 1. Whether Contractor charges according to DVAT or RVAT? 2.What are the Rules of TDS under RVAT? And what are compliances. 3. Do our client need to register and get TAN under RVAT? 4.would the contractor be charging CST instead of DVAT or RVAT?
