About me

I would like to introduce myself as a Chartered Accountant, qualified in May 2008 and cleared all stages in First Attempt. After completing my graduation from St. Xavier’s’ College, Kolkata I have had a two and a half year articleship stint with S.M. Daga & Co. and industrial training with Haldia Petrochemicals Limited.

I have worked with Indus Ind Bank Ltd. in the capacity of a Supervisor (Audit) wherein I got the experience of handling the work of both an analyst as well as of auditor; I had also handled whole West Bengal portfolio and lead the team to achieve the desired goals of the management.

While working with B. Jain & Co., “Chartered Accountants” as Assistant Audit Manager, I learned the intricacies of internal audit and also developed a passion for the subject and the field. I used to lead the team from the beginning till the completion of audit and have handled responsibilities such as review of report and audit work, discussions with the engagement client and also directly reporting to the Partners in the firm.

I am currently working in Magma FinCorp Limited as Assistant Manager in Internal Audit Department, where we are doing both on-site and off-site audit on the risk based approach.

During articleship and post articleship period of six years, I have conducted various statutory and internal audit assignments and other special assignments in the capacity of a team member and team leader.

I am also pursuing CIA from The Institute of Internal Auditors (USA) and CISA from ISACA (USA) to gain more knowledge on the systems and control management and also to have a better idea on governance, risk management and controls which will help me to know the subject better and deeper.I would like to share and guide my friends,juniours,collegues,members and seniors the likes and future of CA.
