RoDTEP stands for Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products. It is a new scheme that has been introduced by the Government of India to replace the earlier Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS) for exporters. The RoDTEP scheme is aimed at reimbursing the taxes and duties that are levied at the central, state, and local levels, and are not refunded currently, on the export of goods from India.

The main objective of RoDTEP is to boost the competitiveness of Indian exports by reducing the cost of exported products. Under the RoDTEP scheme, eligible exporters will be provided with a refund of the various taxes and duties paid by them, which will help to make their products more competitive in the international market.
