How to Check PF Claim Status Online
The ways to check Online PF Claim status are:
Through UAN Member Portal
- Log in to UAN Member Portal with UAN and Password.
- Click on 'Online Services' and choose 'Track Claim Status.'
- View the status of your online withdrawal/transfer claim.
Through EPFO Website
- Visit EPFO website and click on 'Services' > 'For Employees.'
- Select 'Know Your Claim Status.'
- Click on the link which will redirect you to the member passbook application.
- Login with UAN, password, and captcha.
- Find 'View Claim Status' and check your claim status.
Through Umang App
- Download Umang app and log in to your EPFO account.
- Choose 'MPIN' or 'Login with OTP' and enter mobile number.
- Enter OTP received and click 'Login.'
- Navigate to 'Employee Centric Services' and select 'Track Claim.'
- View your claim status on the redirected page.

The ways to check Online PF Claim status are:
Through EPFO Toll-Free Number
- Call the EPFO 24x7 customer care number: 1800 118 005.
- Have your PF Account Number or UAN ready.
- Provide the required details to the helpline officer to check the status of your claim.
Through SMS
- Send an SMS to 7738299899 from your registered number.
- Format: EPFOHO UAN LAN (LAN is the language code, e.g., HIN for Hindi, ENG for English).
- Choose the language for the response. Ten languages are supported.
Through Missed Call
- Give a missed call from your registered mobile number with UAN to 011-22901406.
- The call will disconnect automatically.
- You will receive an SMS with your EPF claim status details.

Conditions under which an individuals can withdraw their EPF funds
An individual with an EPF account can withdraw funds under different circumstances:
- Full 100% withdrawal is allowed upon reaching the age of 55 i.e., after retirement at 55 years:
- Withdrawal of 90% of the EPF amount can be made one year prior to retirement i.e., at 54 years.
- EPF amount can be withdrawn in case of unemployment, with the remaining 25% transferrable upon reemployment.
- Full withdrawal 100% is permitted after two months of continuous unemployment.
