    Sir I am buying Flat Jointly, Coast is 75 Lacs from joint sellers.How TDS is to be deducted I came to know that 4 Challans to be filled. As per agreement I paid 14,25,00/- 1st Installment after deducting 75,000/- TDS (1%on 75 Lacs) before registation of agreement & bal.is to be paid after 45 days. But I have to produce challn/Certficate at the time of bal.payment. How 4 challans is to be filled i.e. amount paid/credited and tax deposied in each challans by both buyers in respect of both seller.

    Hi My name is Manan Mehta I had filed ST-1 of my client & got ST2 next day. I send my article for ST2 documents on 3rd day but no onewas bothered to take the documents at the divsion I want to ask, 1. As per the act , we can send the documents to the division by registered post/speed post as well, SO CAN WE REALLY SEND THE DOCUMENTS BY THIS WAY WITHOUT GETTING MY CLIENT'S ST-2 AFFECTED?? 2. Who is more liable for the ST2 documents?? Deptt or assessee? Please help.
