UAE's Ministry of Finance Introduces Three Ministerial Decisions for Taxation of Corporations and Businesses

The Ministry of Finance in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the introduction of three ministerial decisions aimed at regulating taxation for corporations and businesses in the country. These decisions are intended to provide clarity and guidance regarding certain aspects of the Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022 on the Taxation of Corporations and Businesses.

  1. Ministerial Decision No. 132 of 2023 on Transfers Within a Qualifying Group
  2. Ministerial Decision No. 133 of 2023 on Business Restructuring Relief
  3. Ministerial Decision No. 134 of 2023 on General Rules for Determining Taxable Income

These three ministerial decisions collectively aim to enhance the regulatory framework for the taxation of corporations and businesses in the UAE. They provide businesses with clearer guidelines and procedures, ensuring that they can comply with the requirements set out in the Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022. The decisions reflect the UAE government's commitment to maintaining a fair and transparent tax system while fostering a business-friendly environment in the country.
