Having commenced his career in corporate income taxes, he then transitioned to indirect taxes as the GCC states began to implement VAT, where he assisted numerous leading local and regional firms with VAT implementation. As a result of his professional interest in banking and economics, his client portfolio was heavily concentrated in the banking sector.
