What is RSS ?

RSS is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated digital content, such as blogs, news feeds or podcasts.
Users of RSS content use programs called feed 'readers' or 'aggregators': the user 'subscribes' to a feed by supplying a link to that feed to their reader; the reader can then check the user's subscribed feeds to see if any of those feeds have new content, and if so, retrieve that content and present it to the user.

How to use RSS Feeds

You may have noticed that when you try to click on one the text near the orange, rectangular buttons up above , you just get a squirrelly looking PAGE of code. RSS is written in XML (Extensible Markup Language), similar to html. Thats all fine and good, but you wont be able to read the feeds. Well, thats because you need an RSS feed reader to make it work. Some readers automatically take you to the full article, while with others, you must use their applications RSS button.
