I am a retired Banker after serving the PUBLIC SECTOR BANK (OBC) for 38 years as a PO to the post of Chief Manager (Credit). The large branches with typical human behaviour were handled effectively and retired as Chief Manger (Credit and Risk Management) at the corporate Level. I am now a freelancer and teaching MBA (Finance) in Bennett University Greater Noida for Retail Credit, Corporate Credit & Risk Management, and Accounting and Finance for Bankers to the students regularly. I have been teaching BBA for Commercial Banking as well at Bennett University since 2023 to date. I had been visiting faculty in various banks before the merger and am still, a Visiting Faculty for Bank officers from Scale I to IV of various Banks like IDBI, NIBSCOM, Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).

I have provided training to the executives of Airtel Payment Bank Ltd to their Executives for Customer acquisition, and Customer on-boarding, KYC compliance, and AML since Feb 2018

Taking the cases of departmental inquiry as a defense free of cost for the honest cases but cases having malafide intentions are not taken up at all. Ethics and principles of Life is the most important part of my life with no compromise on this issue.

I have authored a book titled "WORKING CAPITAL MANAGEMENT & FINANCE" published and released on 28 th May 2015 and running now its 4th edition in 2021 as on date,   So far more than 11000 readers have enjoyed the book with updation to 2021 nationally and internationally.

The Book is an outcome of my 38 years of banking experience in branches, Credit Appraisal, Risk Management, and my present association as faculty with premier Training and Educational Institutions viz Bennett University (TOI Group), NIBSCOM, IIBF & all Public Sector Banks, Amity University, etc for last more than 15 years. Shri Himanshu Gupta has given the most valuable input on making subjects simple to understand for officers having no commerce background which has enriched its contents.

Large-scale advances and the predominant role of consultancy firms have necessitated the Bankers to be highly competitive. Unfortunately, the Bank Officers lack specialization due to severe multi-tasking like Deposit mobilization, Priority/Social lending, Financial Inclusion, Social Security Schemes like Insurance/Pension etc. They have very little scope and time to master the art of lending & Monitoring. As a result, they find it difficult to appraise the proposals with due competency and diligence and monitoring & recovery.

To address the above issues, it is a sincere effort to provide comfort to our fellow Bankers and finance managers through the sharing of experience and knowledge so that they do their jobs with clarity and conviction.

The second Book titled "Credit Appraisal & Analysis of Financial Statements" has also been authored and published in August 2017 and is now 4th edition (2022) in the market. 3rd Book titled "Credit Monitoring & Recovery of Bank Loans" 1st Edition (November 2023) updated to September 2023 has also been released and priced at MRP of Rs 499/- from all the leading stores like Amazon.in; Flipkart.com, Google Playstore,  During last two month around more than 200 copies have been sold. This book is very useful for Loan Officers, Finance Managers, Auditors, Inspectors, Chartered Accountants etc. This book has been foreworded by Zonal Head, IIBF NZ Delhi. 

All three books have been in the very simple English language without compromising with the rich contents and references of various regulators and laws relating to the subject. Various illustrations, exercises, and real-life examples. The focus of the authors is on logical understanding and solutions to the problems.
