LAKSHMANA RAO UDANDRAO, M.COM, FCMA (India), CMA (USA), MIMA, believes in creating and stabilizing systems and processes with strong internal controls and fervor to deliver timely results.  Working under status-quo is a weary thing for him.   He believes in “Kaizen”, uses this system for creating and adding value to the tasks he handle. 

He is exposed to work internationally and with in India. His work experience includes both private and public sector, multinationals and large Indian corporate with different industries viz., Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), Cement, FMCG, Technology, Infrastructure and Real Estate.  Managed medium sized teams effectively with his leadership and managerial skills.  Received appreciations and awards for driving value added results and personal traits.

He has an all-round techno-commercial expertise in the areas of Operations Management, Finance, Accounts, Controlling, Human Resources Management, Commercial, Information Technology, ERP and Project Management in startup companies as well as in sustained companies.   Has got working experience in different levels in different environments viz., factories, corporate offices, regional offices and project sites.  Also expertise in design and development of costing system for a company involved in manufacturing, trading and selling of drip-irrigation equipments.

Presently working as Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts) with M/S Synergies Castings Ltd, Visakhapatnam.  Previous worked as Deputy General Manager(Systems and Resources) being in-charge of Human Resources, Finance & Controlling, Commercial and Information Technology departments with one of the reputed cement companies in Ethiopia.  Further, holding additional responsibility as a delegated (Acting) General Manager of the entire factory operations in the absence of the General Manager.

He has also passed the Six Sigma Black Belt examination of WIPRO Corporation.  He has visited Helsinki, Finland in connection with an official assignment.  He is the author an article “ERP Implementation-Facts and Costs” which was published as a cover feature in the national journal of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India “The Management Accountant”.   Also author of the article “Special Economic Zones in India- Boon or Bane?’ which was published in “The Journal of Commerce and Management, an official organ of Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, and Andhra Pradesh, India.  Another article "Business Process Excellence-Synergies of Six Sigma and ERP" penned and publizhed in the national journal of the Institute of Cost & Accountants of India.  Recent article published in The Management Accountant is "Green Audit vis-a-vis Cost Audit and Financial Audit- A CMA's Perspective.

He is a Post Graduate in Commerce (M.Com) from Andhra University, India, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (FICWA), a Certified Management Accountant CMA (USA) by the Institute of Management Accountants, USA, a member of the All India Management Association (MIMA) also a member of Indian Accounting Association (IAA).
