Responsibilities handled over various tenure includes:

Handling day-to-day functions of the organization as departmental head and reporting to Works Head,
Responsible for timely documentation and smooth clearances of goods as per schedule,
Monitoring of statutory records and documents maintained under Rules and procedures of Central Excise, CENVAT Credit, Service Tax, Export, Job-works
Assess Excise Duty/Service Tax liability and ensure timely payment
Pre and post Export documentation and compliances
Preparation and timely submission of all statutory returns and reports related to Central Excise/Service Tax/Export and other government authority
Attend audit & compliance from various agencies including central excise department, CERA.
Interacting and liasioning with Excise Officials
Keep watch on changes, if any made in the rules/procedures for timely implementation of the same for avoiding future litigations
Regular follow-up with excise department for disposal of pending matters
Attend Personal Hearing before the adjudicating authority.
Strictly follows company's policy prescribed in excise matters.
Providing logistic support – negotiation with transporter, courier agencies and ensuring timely and safely delivery of goods
