Arun co-founded GoodMorningResearch.com which is focussed on developing Semantic XBRL solutions for global companies.
At GoodMorningResearch.com, we have developed an XBRL-tagged-RDF-based database system with innovative concepts of Taxonomy Thesaurus and semantic WikiTags. In addition, we have built automation tools for RDF to XBRL and XBRL to RDF data extraction and mapping. Semantic web and emerging XML based standards of RDF and OWL offer technological superior and architecturally elegant methods to address some of these challenges. Our solutions helps in solving one of the XBRL’s most vexing data quality and non-comparability issue which directly stems from filer companies’ need and desire to extend taxonomies based on their (semantic) interpretations. Arun assumed the President & COO duties for SoftPark in March of 1993. Arun directs day-to-day operations and works closely on the strategic direction of the company. |

| Arun brings more than two decades of industrial, consumer durable, computer and software product management, marketing, and development experience to SoftPark. He has overall responsibility for the company's marketing efforts, including product marketing and planning, web marketing, public relations, and customer service. Today, SoftPark has a client base which includes MNCs like GE Capital, GE International Services, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, Frito-Lay, Maruti, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, Caterpillar, GoodYear, Duncans etc. | |
| Prior to that, Arun was General Manager - Marketing at Pfeda Synthetics Pvt. Ltd., an Indo - German Joint Venture. He was responsible for the development of new and existing products, and investigating future product ideas and technology besides managing a 100% EOU unit. Prior to Pfeda, Arun worked with Weston Electoniks Limited as Regional Head and was responsible for achieving sales growth of over 400% in a short span of 6 months using innovative sales promotion and dealer promotion schemes. Before joining Pfeda, Arun worked as Regional Head at Delton Cables for almost 7 years and was responsible for increasing market share by over 50%. |
