As a measure to develop employment opportunities for Chartered Accountants who had undergone the special course at NIFM, Faridabad (www.nifm.ac.in), L. N. Mittal Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur and IIM Indore (www.iimidr.ac.in), the Committee for Members in Industry of ICAI is organising Special Placement Programmes for them, wherein prospective employers and candidates interact and explore the possibility of taking up employment careers in various organizations.

ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SPECIAL CAMPUS PLACEMENT PROGRAMME

The Special Campus Placement Programme is for Chartered Accountants who had undergone the three months residential programme organized by the Institute and administered by the NIFM, Faridabad, L. N. Mittal Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur as well as IIM Indore and would be completing the articleship training lates by 28th February, 2010.

THREE MONTHS RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMME ON PROFESSIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT COURSE CONTENTS

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is running a three months residential programme for CAs particularly who have recently passed the Final examination or have undergone the Final Course. The programme will help the candidates in imbibing the professional skills required for effective functioning in business organisations and profession. The Programme focuses is on development of communication skills, personal qualities, interpersonal and teamwork skills, working in a complex and turbulent environment, problem solving skills and leadership skills.

The course is organized by the Institute and administered by the National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad (NIFM) and L.N. Mittal Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur. The faculty has been drawn from NIFM, academia, industry and the profession.

COURSE CONTENTS

The programme has been divided in six modules covering:

• Developing personal traits
• Corporate communications
• Strategic management
• Practice development and management
• Professional business environment
• Multi-disciplinar y case studies

The programme also includes extra-curricular activities (study tour/industrial visits, yoga, meditation and cultural activities). GUIDELINES FOR THE PARTICIPATING ORGANISATIONS

Timings of the event: 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

• The companies participating will have to register online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org
• The participation fees should be remitted at ICAI head office New Delhi only
• Access to the candidate database shall be allowed only after the receipt of participation fee by CMII Secretariat
• The companies can access the database through the placement portal www.cmii.icai.org
• Participating companies will have to provide the list of shortlisted candidates online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org.
• Final list of candidates appearing for interview will be available online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org.
• Shortlisting of the candidates by the company is not restricted against the number of vacancies in that particular organization
• Once a company has selected any candidate and the offer is accepted by the candidate it is the responsibility of the company to inform the organizers providing the offer letter duly signed by it and the candidate who had accepted the offer.
• The companies participating have to offer a minimum CTC of Rs.6.00 lakhs to the candidates in Career Ascent

PARTICIPATION FEES FOR SPECIAL CAMPUS PLACEMENT PROGRAMME

Payment Terms: Participation fee shall be payable by way of Cheque / Demand Draft in favour of 'The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India' payable at New Delhi only.

GUIDELINES FOR THE CANDIDATES

• • The candidates have to register on-line with Placement portal www.cmii.icai.org
• • No registration (participation) fees would be charged from the candidates
• • The last dates for filling up On-line application forms for the candidates, shortlising details, consents for appearing in the interviews of the various participating organizations and the final acceptance of offers will be announced in due course.
• • A candidate can appear for only Five interviews irrespective of the fact that he/she is short listed by several organisation but at the moment he is offered job by any organisation and is accepted by him/her in writing then the candidate will not be permitted to attend the rest of the campus interviews.
• • Once finally selected by any company and accepting the offer by signing the offer letter, the candidate cannot appear for any other interview
• • The candidates would be provided with waiting cum refreshment lounge at the venue
• • The entire process above would be done online on placement portal www.cmii.icai.org
