Amends Notification No.14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 8th March, 2002

Notification No. 13 /2010-Central Excise (N.T.)

New Delhi dated the March 19, 2010.

G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of rule 3 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) number 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 8^th March, 2002, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), vide number G.S.R. 182(E), dated the 8^th March, 2002, namely,-

1. In the said notification,

(i) in Table I, against serial number 16, in Column (3), the entry “(ii) Mumbai-IV” shall be omitted;

(ii) in Table IA, against serial number 16, in Column (3), the entry “(ii) Mumbai-IV” shall be omitted;

(iii) in Table II,-

(a) for serial number 57, and entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“57.

Mumbai-I

In wards A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K (East) of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai of the State of Maharashtra and in the areas in the Continental Shelf, or as the case may be, in the exclusive economic zone of India declared as designated areas by the Central Government from time to time.”

(b) serial number 60 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted

(iv) in Table III, -

(a) against serial number 45, in column (3), the entry “Mumbai-IV” shall be omitted;

(b) serial No. 48, and entries relating thereto shall be omitted.

Note.- The principal notification number 14/2002-Central Excise (N.T.),dated the 8^th March, 2002 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section(i), vide number G.S.R.182 (E), dated the 8^th March, 2002, and the same was subsequently amended vide notification number 22/2002-Central Excise (N.T.) dated the 4^th June, 2002 vide number G.S.R. 403(E), dated the 4^th June, 2002 and was last amended vide notification No. 19/2009 C.E. (N.T.), dated 17-08-2009, which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 576 (E), dated the 17^th Aug 2009.
