After the 5 days long CA student protest demanding rechecking, ICAI declared that an independent high-level committee will be formed that will look into the matter. On the 21st of November, 2019 ICAI released a chain of events since the committee was formed. Below is the chain of events:
1. Constitution of independent High Level Committee on exam processes
2. First meeting held on 7.10.2019
3. Announcement inviting suggestions hosted on 25.10.2019
4. Window for submission of suggestions closed on 10.11.2019.
5. Suggestions were received from over 2400 persons. The same are under process.
6. Second meeting of the Committee is likely to be held soon.
