Special window for Affordable & mid income housing Fund(SWAMIH) to provide relief to homeowners - FM

As a part of #AatmaNirbharBharat Abhiyaan additional borrowing limit of up to 2% of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) was allowed to the States for the year 2020-21, equivalent to Rs. 4,27,302 crore.

Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Expenditure' approved

Special assistance has been provided to State Govts in form of 50-year interest free loan up to an overall sum not exceeding Rs. 12,000 cr. Rs 9880 cr already approved to 27 States

Special window for borrowings to meet shortfall arising out of GST implementation 

All 28 States & 3 UTs with Legislative Assembly(who are members of GST Council have decided to go for Option-1 to meet the revenue shortfall arising out of GST implementation.

Grant-in-aid of Rs 1.99 lakh cr allocated to States for 2020-21.This includes Rs 74,341cr to 13 States to meet revenue deficit, Rs 90,000cr for improving civic services & Rs 34,545cr for disaster management.Out of this Rs 1.25 lakh cr already released to States.
