The revenue from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) touched Rs. 7.19 lakh crore between August, 2017 and March, 2018. The Monthly Revenue Average from GST was at Rs. 89,885 crore for the said period.

The introduction of e-way bill is expected to improve overall Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance. The Gross Revenue Collection in the month of April, 2018 (Rs.1,03,459 crore), May, 2018 (Rs. 94,016 crore), June, 2018 (Rs. 95,610 crore) and July, 2018 (Rs. 96,483) which is higher than the monthly average of GST collection in the last financial year FY 2017-18 i.e. Rs 89,885 crore.
