New Building of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India inaugurated
The new building of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was inaugurated by Shri R. Bandyopadhyay, Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, yesterday in Sector-62, Noida, U.P. Shri Uttam Prakash Agarwal, President, ICAI was also present.
The new building will house ICAI�s Research & Development Centre and comprises of 4 blocks: Auditorium Block, Research Block, Office Block and Hostel Block with adequate parking facilities. All the blocks are well equipped with latest technology.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the sole regulator of accountancy profession in India, is the second largest professional body of Chartered Accountants in the World, with a strong tradition of service to the public interest and to the Indian economy. Today the strength of Chartered Accountant fraternity in the country has grown to 1, 61,000 and students base to over 6,20,000.
