REMOVAL OF MEMBERSHIP DUE TO NON-PAYMENT OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE FOR 2017-2018
In accordance with Section 20 (1) (c) of the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 read with Regulation 8 of the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982, the names of the members, who had not paid their annual membership fee for the year 2017-2018 by the last extended date i.e. 31.8.2017, have been removed from the Register of Members w.e.f. 1.9.2017 and was communicated to them through Speed Post. Since then some of them have restored their membership.
The list of such members as on 22-3-2018, whose names still stand removed from the Register of Members due to non-payment of their annual membership fee for the year 2017-2018 is given in the attachment below.
These members can get their names restored by making an application in Form BB (available on the website of the Institute www.icsi.edu) and paying the Annual Membership fee for the year 2017-2018 (Associates admitted on or after 1-4-2015–Rs. 1500/-, Associates admitted before 1-4-2015–Rs. 2500/- & Fellow–Rs. 3000/-) with the Entrance fee of Rs. 2000/- and Restoration fee of Rs. 250/- plus applicable GST@18%.
A member, whose name is borne on the Register of Members on 1.4.2018 shall be eligible to vote in the elections for the new Council / Regional Councils which will be held in December 2018, from the Regional constituencies within whose territorial jurisdiction his/her professional address falls on the said date (residential address in absence of professional address), provided that his/her name has not been removed from the Register on the date of publication of the list of voters.
A member holding certificate of practice is additionally required to pay either Rs. 1500/- (Associates admitted on or after 1-4-2015) or Rs. 2000/- (Associates admitted before 1-4-2015 and Fellows) as Certificate of Practice fee and Rs. 250/- as Restoration fee plus applicable GST@18% along with Form D (available on the website of the Institute www.icsi.edu).
