  2. Top Performers: Delhi and Karnataka emerge as frontrunners in the seizure drive, with each state accounting for over Rs 200 crore in confiscated assets. Tamil Nadu closely follows with Rs 150 crore in seized assets. Additionally, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Odisha collectively contribute over Rs 100 crore to the total seizure.
  3. Vigilance and Enforcement: With the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in effect since March 16, the Income Tax Department has maintained heightened vigilance, cracking down on unaccounted cash and valuables that could potentially sway voters.
