The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a rescheduling of the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination scheduled for January 2025. This adjustment has been made to accommodate major festivals, including Makar Sankranti, Bihu, and Pongal, celebrated across India.
Revised Dates for Foundation Exam
The CA Foundation Examination will now take place on the following dates:
- 12th January 2025
- 16th January 2025 (rescheduled from 14th January)
- 18th January 2025
- 20th January 2025
These changes are in accordance with the syllabus outlined under Regulation 25F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
RESCHEDULEMENT OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS EXAMINATION, JANUARY-2025
It is hereby announced for general information that in view of Makar Sankranti/Bihu/Pongal festivals across India, the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination, January-2025 the said examination dtd 14th January 2025 stands rescheduled to 16th January 2025 and the complete schedule shall now be held as per the details given below.
FOUNDATION EXAMINATION
[As per syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 25F of the Chartered
Accountants Regulations, 1988.]
12th , 16th , 18th & 20th January-2025
There will be no change in the schedule of Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination to be
held in January-2025.
It may further be noted that there would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination schedule mentioned above, being declared a Public Holiday by the Central Government or any State Government / Local Authority.
However, it is clarified that other particulars / details as announced vide Important Announcement dated 20th September-2024 hosted on www.icai.org shall remain unchanged.
