The Institute is pleased to inform that the Certified Filing Scheme of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for practicing Company Secretaries will be officially opened from the 1st of July, 2010. 

To facilitate the registration process, the Company Secretaries in Practice who are interested in associating themselves with this scheme may make an online submission through the relevant link on our portal http://www.icsi.edu

You are requested to note that the scheme is for a duration of 60 days only.  The Company Secretaries in Practice  are requested to note that new registrants under the scheme shall have to make a payment of Rs. 1,000/-only.   The earlier registrants shall have to make a payment of Rs. 500/-.  All other details are published on our portal.

MODALITIES  ON  CERTIFIED  FILING  CENTRE

 

  1. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has been assigned the task of collection and collation of information of the firms / individuals which are interested in Certified Filing Centres.  To achieve the objective, the following methodology is being followed :

The Institute has developed an online form which will be validated from the database as provided by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to ensure that the applicant is a new applicant or not.  In case, it is a new applicant the fees will be Rs. 1,000/-. The earlier registrants shall have to make a payment of Rs. 500/-.   For the same, the CFC number as assigned by the Ministry will be used.  For e.g. CFCADM00001

  3. The online control will thereafter shifted to the full online applications where the name and other details of the applicants will be captured.  The Company Secretary in Practice will fill this application online. 

  4. The Company Secretary in Practice will take a print out of this application wherein a temporary CFC number as issued by the Institute will be generated for control purposes. 

  5. The Company Secretary in Practice will paste a photograph in the appropriate column and attach one more photograph on the applications.  He will also sign in the due position on the form.

  6. A draft / local cheque (for the Company Secretaries in Practice of Delhi NCR) of appropriate amount (Rs. 1,000/- or Rs. 500/- as the case may be) will be prepared by the Company Secretary in Practice  in the name of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India payable at New Delhi.

  7. The draft/local cheque will be enclosed with the application and other relevant support documents and posted to the following address :

        9.   All the applications as received will be verified for consistency of information on fortnightly basis and forwarded to the designated     officer of Ministry of Corporate Affairs. 

      10.  The Ministry will thereafter issue the final CFC number to the incumbent (Company Secretary in Practice) and inform the individual  Company Secretary in Practice by email.

  •        8.    The status of the application will be projected online to the user through a query and he / she may use the temporary CFC number     as assigned by the Institute for the same.
