Representation to MCA for extension of time for preparing and filing the statement of Account and Solvency by LLPs

With a view to provide ease to the LLPs, it is submitted that the time limit for preparing the Statement of Account and Solvency and for getting the accounts audited and the subsequent filing thereof be kindly extended for a period of 30 days.

NFRA advises to remove compulsory statutory Audit for all companies!

A preliminary analysis has been done by NFRA on the key financial parameters of the companies registered in India and it is found that the fees paid to auditors by a large majority of MSMCs are way below what an audit would require.

New online system of MSME/Udyam Registration crosses 50 lakh mark

Enterprises which are not yet registered, should register themselves to avail the benefits of Ministry of MSME and other Government agencies. The registration is free of cost and should be done only on the Government portal.

Extension of Time Limit for Holding AGM for FY 2020-21

The extension granted under this order shall not cover the applications filed in form GNL-1 for the extension of AGM for the financial year ended on 31/03/2021, where the extension approved was for a period of more than two months.

EPFO adds 14.65 lakh net subscribers in July, an increase of 31.28% over June

Of the total 14.65 lakh net subscribers, around 9.02 lakh new members have come under the social security umbrella of EPFO for the first time. Around 5.63 lakh net subscribers exited but rejoined EPFO by changing jobs.

Bank Employees Family Pension to be increased to 30% of last pay drawn

GoI has approved the Indian Banks' Association’s (IBA) proposal to increase the family pension to 30% of last salary drawn. This move would make family pension go up to as much as Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 per family of bank employees.

Government cautions stakeholders as 348 companies fail to meet requisite criteria for declaration as Nidhi company

Companies have been applying to the Central Government for declaration as Nidhi under the CA, 2013 but of the 348 number of forms scrutinized upto 24.08.2021 not a single company could satisfy the requisite criteria for the same.

ICSI requests MCA for extension of timeline for holding Annual General Meeting due to COVID-19
