440 Kgs of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances as well as 19 Metric Tonnes of Foreign origin Cigarettes with a cumulative market value of around Rs. 15 Crores were destroyed by way of incineration at Mumbai waste Management facility, Taloja.

Customs Officials seize 21 lakh peacock tail feathers

On the basis of specific intelligence, officers of ICD, Tughalakbad, export shed intercepted a container carrying "peacock tail feathers" on 16.03.2021. Further, the investigation in the matter is underway.

CBIC releases updated rate of Exchange of Conversion of Foreign Currencies w.e.f 19th March 2021

CBIC determines that the rate of exchange of conversion of each of the foreign currencies specified in column (2) of each of Schedule I and Schedule II annexed hereto, into Indian currency or vice versa, shall, with effect from 19th March, 2021.

CBIC | Manual Processing of declaration under SVLDRS, 2019

Clarification issued that henceforth all the mentioned references for grant of approval of manual processing of the declarations under SVLDRS 2019 need not be made to the Board and such cases can be processed manually by the Designated Committees.
