Anna’s family has spent over $100,000 for her medical treatment, thanks to the help from many donors. When she died, Anna had only $600 in her bank account. Her home is under a mortgage and owes $22,000 in credit card dues.
In her final moments, Anna’s bedside was filled with prayers, shared memories, and the unwavering love of her children, siblings, and dearest companions. While she was unable to speak or move, hospital staff assured her family that she could hear their words of comfort and love as they bid their farewells.
Anna was much more than a devoted mother and sister; she was a fearless champion of humanity and an unyielding voice for justice. Her dedication to improving the world was fueled by her profound compassion and determination.
A quote she often shared encapsulated her life’s mission:
“What’s the point of saving a world without fighting for people? We must stop this genocide first; otherwise, there will be no one left to save the world for.”
