The subway burning victim’s name was Amelia Carter, a 29-year-old woman. Amelia previously worked as an intern on Bernie’s 2016 presidential campaign. According to her family, she leaned right in 2024 and participated in protests following the kil*ling of Laken Riley.

According to a post from now-suspended account on 4Chan, On December 5, 2024, Amelia Carter filed a complaint at the NYPD’s 13th Precinct about threatening phone calls she had been receiving.

She claimed the calls were linked to individuals associated with Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego and cartels involving in trafficking.

According to reports, pressure is mounting on investigators to assert that the body does not belong to Amelia but to an unidentified homeless woman, though the reasons remain unclear.

A tragic incident occurred on December 22, 2024, when a woman named Amelia was set on fire while sleeping on an F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station in Brooklyn.

The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Sebastian Zapeta, allegedly approached the victim and ignited her clothing with a lighter. Despite efforts to extinguish the flames, she was pronounced de*ad at the scene by EMS.

Following the att*ack, police quickly apprehended Zapeta after high school students recognized him from surveillance footage. He was found sitting on a bench near the train and arrested without incident.
