Early Life and Education

Born on March 9, 1984, Jessica Tarlov grew up in New York City. She attended Bryn Mawr College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in History.

Tarlov then pursued higher education at the London School of Economics and Political Science, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Administration.

Tarlov began her career in 2006 as a project manager at Merrill Lynch, representing the company at various conferences in Paris and Brussels on the agenda of EU directives. She was paid $100K salary at this time.
