• The candidate must be graduate in Commerce with Honours in Accountancy.
• Must be proficient in maintenance of accounts, GST, TDS, PF, P.Tax.
• Should be capable of handling / filing returns under I.Tax, GST, P.F and Profession Tax.
• Should be fluent in English and Bengali.
• Persons having worked in the N.G.O sector will be preferred.
• Candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience on the above matters.
• Good knowledge of Excel and Tally accounting software (latest version);
• Ensure books of accounts are maintained in Tally as per Indian Accounting Standards;
• Reconcile cash, bank Accounts and Trial Balance on a monthly basis;
• Timely compliance with the requirements of T.D.S. GST, Professional Tax and Provident Fund etc;
• Assist in financial year-end closure and preparation of Financial Statement of the Organization;
• May be required to visit to different districts/states for project related work under implementation by the organization.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the Accounts Officer.
Candidate should have at least 3 yrs of experience preferably in development sector.
