B. Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
1.Provide accurate information and support to Project Management team
2.Timely and correct processing and/or validating of financial transactions related to Project Management into the computerised accounting system (daily transactions, adjusting journals, tenant statements)
3.Clear building reconciliation’s accurately and timely and ensure accurate balance sheet
4.Responsibility for custody of PM financial information and records
5.Collection of monthly and annual turnover information from National tenants from centres and reporting thereof, Supervise the collection of all other turnover information from centres
6.Supervise and conduct MRI processes, ensuring that the information reflected on the system is accurate and up to date at all times
7.Ensure super-user knowledge of all modules of MRI and ability to train and coach all other staff in region
8.Ensure that the financial month/year-end procedures and timetable are completed accurately and promptly
9.Reconcile all amounts brought forward on rent statements of National tenants and ensure that balances outstanding on vacated tenants are recovered
10.Ensure adequate internal controls are in place for transactions within the relevant portfolio to ensure accuracy and efficiency in order to safeguard the client’s assets
11.Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard client and company assets (control account reconciliation’s – GL, CM, journals, posting of batches)
12.Ensure that all income and operating costs are correctly accounted for and any reconciliation issues are resolved
13.Verify the accuracy of the following reports and systems: stats flash, new deals, vacancy and unsigned leases reports and spaceman
14.Analyse and audit parking and special projects/agents financial reports
15.Identify key priorities which add substantial value to the client and the company
16.Effective participation in CRM and completion of all CRM projects
17.Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order to safeguard the Clients and PPZ’s assets and eliminate all risks to the Client and PPZ
