The incumbent is also required to advise the Sr. Management in relation with policy definition and implementation at all SunEdison Business Units as well as assess investment proposals for financial risks and guide economic analysis, corporate planning, budgeting and management reporting between the Business Units and the Corporate. This position is also created to lead financing needs of the group to help originate, negotiate, structure, and execute photovoltaic project finance transactions in the India, and internationally. This requires very strong negotiation and analytical skills, extreme attention to detail, excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Overall, this position expects the individual to lead and manage all finance, accounting, budgeting, company secretarial, and compliance, direct and indirect taxation
• As a seasoned business finance leader, add gravitas to strategic discussions and provide thought leadership to develop new processes and growth for the SunEdison Business.
• Raise debts both long term/ short term including project based loans and working capital
• Raise equity, quasi equity both domestic and international
• Responsible for P&L and bottom line
• Develop and drive a financial business strategy aiming at maximizing top and bottom line business growth to consolidate company’s presence in the market place
• Provide advice and manage the company's financing arrangements. This will involve identifying appropriate funding arrangements and implementing capital raising initiatives whilst ensuring that funding and interest costs are minimized
• Present budgets at the beginning of the year in coordination with all departments
• Coordinate and analyse company budgets and business plans, undertake systematic reviews and make recommendations to improve profitability
