Operational:
Accounting Operations Support
• Ensure all the required inputs for transactions processing are timely sent to Shared Services team.
• Ensure timely inputs for monthly financial closing. (Provisioning, pre-paid working and booking)
• Proactively working with supply chain, store, spoc from all internal departments in collecting accounting input and processing the same through shared services center/corporate treasury team.
• Review Open purchase order, GR/IR account and ensure that there are no long outstanding entries, long open commitments.
• Maintaining list of all deposits and advances and ensure closure in appropriate time.
• Coordinate with the travel expense reimbursements desk to ensure employee reimbursements are made on time.
• Coordinate with the Payments Processing Team at Shared Services to ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers
Taxation
• Support corporate tax team in annual/special audits/assessment by external tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance and provide assistance to the corporate tax team in maintaining liasioning with local TAX and regulatory bodies.
• Support Tax team in processing tax incentives related to R&D expenses.
• Flag immediately any tax non compliances to corporate tax team.
Vendor Management
• Interact with local and foreign vendor and support shared services / Taxation for smooth payment and tax compliances.
• Be a point in contact for any escalation of vendor payment related issues.
Asset Management
• Support Asset Management team in implementing the Asset Management policies and procedures at R&D centre.
• Support asset team in asset audits at the Unit.
• Report asset write-off / disposals, any movement of assets to asset management team.
Strategic
• Participate in Annual budget planning.
• Work closely with Corporate Finance / R&D Leadership for strengthening internal financial controls and operating controls at the R&D Centre.
• Provide reports on analysis of expenses vs. Budgets and drive adherence to budgets.
