Job Description • Review all Tax(IT/TDS/TCS/ST/VAT/WCT/CST) ledgers monthly and recommend for further processing
• Manage all tax payments, challan, return preparation and ensure all required supporting schedules are made available for further review and audit.
• Preparation of CENVAT control sheet and schedule for Service tax management.
• Review and manage VAT ledgers of operations from Uttar Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
• Manage C form release.
• Coordinate with external consultants for tax registrations, renewals, surrender etc
• Support and coordinate assessments of all direct and indirect taxes applicable
• Assist tax team in preparing for various tax litigations.
• Coordinate with internal team and external team on smooth tax functioning including department audit, internal audit and statutory audit.
• Assist business team and regulatory team as and when required.
Desired Profile • Candidate must have prior experience in Accounts functions of Medium to large enterprises (Turnover of 100 Crores and above)
• Preference will be given for experience in Tax functions and MNC or big corporate experience.
• Working experience with major consulting firm is also preferred.
• Candidate must have good communication skills
• Candidate must be willing to travel across India
