• CPA/CA (or equivalent) qualified or studying towards (preferred)
• At least 5 years experience with minimum 2 years in a commercial or operational role

As the leader of India’s Risk and Audit team, you will be responsible for two key work streams:
a) Development and oversight of a ‘minimum standards’ audit program for each of the Corporate, Retail, Forex and MICE businesses. Once audit programs have been developed for each business, you will be responsible for training and oversight of the audit team to ensure that systems and controls are being tested on a rolling basis. This should include review of audits conducted.
b) Project based operational reviews. The purpose of these reviews will be to identify deficiencies in systems and to put plans in place to resolve these in a timely manner. These projects will be identified over time, but may include:
i. Resolution of financial reporting deficiencies in the retail business;
ii. Measurement of consultant profitability and productivity
iii. Review of systems and controls within the forex business
iv. Review of sales and revenue recognition criteria and methodologies in each of the businesses to ensure financial information is being captured correctly.
v. Health checking of key business reconciliations – e.g. PLB calculations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy companywide ongoing audit programs.
• Provide adequate training and oversight of the audit team.
• Undertake reviews of audits conducted and provide ongoing analysis back to the Finance SWOT team of trends, themes, improvement opportunities.
• Undertake operational review of business systems as required. The outcome of these reviews will be to identify commercially viable solutions to highlighted problems.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the audit team;
• Deploy standard communication systems within the audit team;
• Develop incentive programs suitable for the audit team;
• Support training and development of the audit team;
• Undertake succession planning within the audit team.
• Promote Company’s philosophies, values and cultures within the business.
