1) Financial
· Assist Branch Head in managment of Branch expenses
· Create opportunities for Cost saving / identification of revenue seepage and implement such initiatives
· Managing branch vendors, constant tracking and review of their performance
2) Customer Interface
· Interface with customers on Ops related issues
· Educate customers with respect to Ops requirements, Process and Regulatory changes
· Liaise with customers / sales teams on structuring of complex transactions
3) Process
· Manage daily operations of the Ops desk as per the bank's operating policies
· Keep abreast of the changing RBI / Govt regulations with respect to Banking and ensure that the operating procedures are in line with them
· Constantly review processes and identify changes (both process and technology changes) that will help in:
· Better Cost Control
· Greater risk management
· Faster turn around times for the customers
· Decrease in manpower requirements of the bank
· Providing more detailed MIS to the management and
· Overall better service to the customers
· Work with Product & Technology to conceptualise, develop and implement process changes and new technologies
· Manage periodic audits
· Define user requirements and conduct User Acceptance Tests for new system implementations
