Since the profile involves data collation, crunching and analysis, it is important that the candidate has a flair for ‘numbers’ and possesses the ability to analyse and make sense of the numbers. Since the role is diverse requiring the involvement of the candidate in multiple areas, we believe that the candidate needs to have the mental framework, common sense and the flexibility to sift through these areas with no or minimal disruption in work. The candidate will have enough flexibility required to perform his role. During the initial period, the candidate would be provided on the field/real time exposure. It is pertinent to note that WealthTree is also looking to employ people
who have the flair to learn, take independent decisions and manage assignments where given an opportunity. The company places a lot of importance in candidates looking at a solution oriented approach, simplifying matters, hardworking, having reasonably good communication skills and who are looking at ‘results’ and client satisfaction. The organization structure currently does not have ‘designations’ in place and opportunities for growth would be through improvements in ‘profile’ and not necessarily through designations. Variable incentives would be purely
performance based and would be agreed and paid against pre defined KPI’s.
WealthTree’s clients may approach it for a full range of MyCFO services or for assistance in specific areas. The typical areas in which assistance may be requested are as follows:
• Strategy/Governance – Develop, maintain and improve governance standards of the client, act as the sounding board to the promoters and Succession Planning
• Business Plans/Fund Raising – Development of vision and mission statement, business plans, budgets and forecasts, scenario planning, Benchmarking of key parameters with peer companies, raising bank funds/restructuring existing loans, due diligence, private equity funding, MIS systems/analysis
• Deal Assistance – Preparation to face the due diligence by Big4/ large law firm, liaise with potential targets, collaborators, buyers, negotiations with vendors and suppliers, building valuation models
• Business Process Improvement – Cost reduction and efficiency improvement measures, Product and customer rationalization, ERP implementation
• Operational Support – Managing routine compliances, recruitment of a professional team, performance management for employees, IFRS assistance and GST preparation
Candidates already based in Mumbai are preferred. Candidates need to have advanced excel skills and having experience of having worked on MIS systems (Management Accountant) and ERP system will be an added advantage.
