1) Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
2) Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
3) Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
4) Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
5) Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
6) Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.

Basic and practical knowledge of Accounting & Taxation, B.com Graduates or candidates who have good communication skills will be given preference and also those who wish to work on contract basis may apply.
Accounts Executive with basic knowledge of accounting principles. Good communication skills. Minimum B.Com from Regular college with 50% marks in B.Com. job location Africa. .

+ Play an active role in managing the accounting, tax compliance and audit of the organization.
+ Manage accounts in Tally. Prepare and post journal entries for all financial transactions of New Delhi and Mumbai offices. Liaise with teams in New Delhi and Mumbai offices in matters concerning operating cash requirements, reimbursements etc. to facilitate smooth functioning of these processes.
+ Manage and supervise the time-slip entry system of the firm, coordinate with the fee-earners of the firm to ensure constant updating of the time-slip entry system and generate professional fee invoices for clients regularly.
+ Check and verify vendor invoices for approval and input in accounts payable for payment.
+ Check and verify employee expense reports for receipts and approval and input in accounts payable for payment. Make sure spending and reimbursement is in adherence to firm policy and projected budget.
+ Prepare and manage monthly payroll for office and prepare required tax filings.
+ Interfacing with tax consultants and make sure the organization is in compliance with tax requirements.
+ Coordinate with external auditors and help them discharge their duties. Complete the internal audits before the above mentioned external audits.
+ Maintain fixed assets log for New Delhi and Mumbai offices.
+ Close each financial period at the end of each and prepare monthly profits and loss statement, balance sheet, and trial balance and cash-flow statements.
+ Perform bank reconciliations and manage bank related processes.
+ Share a monthly actual vs. budgeted status on a monthly basis and actively work with the management team in developing budget for every financial year.
+ Undertake, oversee and manage the office operations and routine administrative functions. Take up ad hoc functions such as leave management, procuring insurance policies, overseeing office interns and support staff etc. and take ownership of making decisions for buying assets such as laptops etc.
