Should be an MBA-Finance/ICWA/CA (Inter).
Responsible for maintenance of accounts, book-keeping, billing & credit control and adequate internal controls.
Key Tasks:
•Ensure compliance with Indian accounting practices, Statute and Direct and Indirect Taxation including SOX compliance.
•Responsible for formulating policies, procedures & systems for finance processes in the organization which would lead to greater cost optimization and controls.
•Responsible for financial control of the company operations.
•Working along with Sales Managers on the timelines of Collection/Receivables and provide them report on weekly basis.
•Responsible for maintenance of accurate accounting books in global accounting software.

SKILLS REQUIRED IN A CANDIDATE'S PROFILE- (A MUST)
1. 5 years accounting experience with strong witten and oral english skills
2. Knowledge of internal controls, auditing, general ledger,inventory, and accounting processes
3. Experience with manufacturing and distribution businesses
4. Systems experience (ERP level) desirable
5. Operational audit experience with various business processes is desirable
6. Should be well versed with US GAAP.-- its a MUST!!******

-Preparation of month end accounts for lease portfolios on a timely basis
-Review of lease portfolio accounts for accuracy and completeness
-Provision of P&L and BS analysis for each portfolio.
-Review journals
-Review Account reconciliations
-Preparation and filing of VAT returns

1. Experience preferably in reporting and compliance function in financial services industry (Periodic external reporting,Statistical reporting, Inter Company and Balance Sheet reconciliations)
2. Strong understanding of regulatory and control requirements
