Introduction
Global Markets is the Investment Banking division of Deutsche Bank. It accounts for over 50% of Deutsche Bank’s revenues. The Business Management team in Global Markets is responsible for ensuring that day to day business is running smoothly. It is responsible for business plans and strategy, financial MIS, performance MIS, risk MIS, human capital MIS, analysis of cost and revenue trends, oversight over infrastructure and service providers, business continuity planning and a variety of other essential tasks.
The Business Intelligence team has set up an offshore team in our captive investment banking centre in Mumbai (Global Markets Centre, Mumbai). The offshore team is delivering some of the business management functions and is working closely with the onshore business management team.
Job Summary
The individual will support the Global market equity lead in Mumbai and help in preparation of regular and ad hoc MIS reports, analysis and presentation to the Global market equity community and senior management.
The role will also involve regular interaction with other offshore Senior Analysts / Associate Managers and their teams (within the Business Intelligence Function) who are responsible for production and delivery of the financial and non financial MI.
Primary Responsibilities
• Responsible for the delivery of flash and final cost reports
• Support Global market equity cost lead in preparation of Global market equity Exco Pack
• Prepare the leg work for any adhoc request from business managers and COO
• Support the Planning & Budgeting, Quarterly Reviews (QRM) and other business management activities
• Work with the other team members to proactively identify and implement improvements to the way in which different processes works
• Review all analysis, provide value added commentary, be proactive about understanding various business issues and their resolution, improve the analysis around costs and continue to develop standardized meaningful MIS as well as develop meaningful operational metrics and productionize
